Reang Tribe
"Houses made of bamboo, a mild sun and the much quoted chill of hills. A day with Reang Tribe was walking on its normal pace. Originally migrated from Mizoram, Reang descendants find themselves a home in Thiruvananthapuram now. As children stood intrigued by the shutter and its activities, their mothers’ carried on with their daily chores. The fathers’ too feigned no fascination but it was I who was beguiled. A landscape so scenic, a story so intriguing. Not everyday would I document a tribe so limited.”
